I recently stayed at Maggie's in a beautiful Northumberland village for a weekend getaway. The cottage had a lovely, cozy feel with a modern interior. It was spotlessly clean and had great interior design. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside. The little touches like milk and coffee provided a welcoming touch. The owner's greeting and the welcome pack were much appreciated. The quiet and well-equipped cottage made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. In fact, we already have plans to return!
Totally recommend this hotel.

Great location, secluded, and quiet. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. The cottage had a lovely modern interior with all the necessary amenities. It was clean and tidy, making it a comfortable place to stay. Plus, the little touches like milk in the fridge and a welcome pack made us feel at home. The Easter surprise of a chocolate rabbit was a sweet gesture that added to the warm welcome. Would definitely return for another relaxing weekend.
The cleanliness could have been better. There were quite a few spiders and webs throughout the cottage, which bothered my partner who has arachnophobia.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maggie's in a charming village in Northumberland, surrounded by tranquil countryside. The cottage itself had a lovely cottage feel with a modern interior, providing the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The cleanliness and tidiness of the entire cottage were excellent, and the attention to detail in the interior design was perfect. I particularly appreciated the little touches like having milk in the fridge and coffee available, made me feel welcomed. the Easter surprise of a chocolate rabbit was a good touch that added to the overall homely ambiance. The location was fantastic, offering peace and privacy, and the welcome pack and greeting from the owner were greatly appreciated.
One minor drawback was the size of the china and glasses, excessively large and thin. It made it a bit challenging to use them for regular portions or drinks.

We had a blast hiking in the beautiful surroundings. The trails were totally awesome and the views were out of this world! We also had a wild time at Falconry Days, getting up close and personal with falcons and owls. And when we needed a break, we hit up Stocksfield Golf Club for some swingin' action. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was clutch for staying connected and sharing epic photos of our adventures!
The only bummer was that there wasn't a nearby club or party scene for us young party-goers. We were hoping to let loose and dance the night away, but had to settle for chill evenings in the cottage.

The decoration of this charming cottage was simply delightful, with its cozy and rustic feel combined with modern touches. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The pathways were wide enough for me to navigate with my walking stick, and the communal areas were well-lit and easy to move around in. It made me feel comfortable and at ease during my stay.
I would have asked for a better vacation if the children working there could have been a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests.
